Hawai’i’s history of a multiethnic culture dates back to the plantation era.  In the present day, Hawai’i is an environment with the potential to bring together communities from various cultural backgrounds.

Multiculturalism

The culture and history of Ancient Hawai’i can guide humanity to a sustainable future. Aloha ʻĀina, which translates to “love of the land” and conveys a deep connection between humans and the natural world.

Hawaiian Culture

Aloha is much more than a greeting; it symbolizes the presence of the breath of life. It is the core of relationships in which each person is significant to every other person for co-existence.

Aloha

Spending time connecting to Hawai'i’s land and ocean invites reflection, healing, and discovery of a deep purpose to care for humanity and the earth.
